Hanoi, May 20 -- The supplement is stipulated on Circular 13/2026/TT-BYT, add diseases caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) to the list of illnesses requiring compulsory vaccination through the country's expanded immunization program.

Under the updated regulations, Viet Nam's national immunization information system will be used to manage vaccination records, vaccine supplies and monitoring data nationwide.

The mandatory vaccination list now includes (1) Hepatitis B, (2) Tuberculosis, (3) Diphtheria, (4) Pertussis (whooping cough), (5) Tetanus, (6) Poliomyelitis (polio), (7) Diseases caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib), (8) Measles, (9) Rubella, (10) Japanese encephalitis, (10) Diarrheal disease caused by Rotavirus, (11) P...
