Hanoi, Sept. 22 -- To Lam, who is in New York to attend the high-level general debate of the 81st UNGA session, affirmed Viet Nam attaches importance to the comprehensive strategic partnership with the U.S., expressing his desire to work with President Donald Trump's Administration to continue advancing the bilateral ties in a stable, substantive, effective and sustainable manner.

Economic, trade and investment cooperation still remains a key pillar of Viet Nam-U.S. relations, bringing practical benefits to people and businesses of both countries, noted the top Vietnamese leader.
