Jakarta, Feb. 12 -- Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the ASEAN Political-Security Community, Dato' Astanah Abdul Aziz, received a courtesy call from the United States Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Michael G. DeSombre, at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat today. The meeting reviewed progress in the ASEAN-United States Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, including follow-up actions from the 13th ASEAN-United States Summit. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the partnership and exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
