Jakarta, July 7 -- H.E. Dato' Astanah Abdul Aziz, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the ASEAN Political-Security Community, received a courtesy call from the H.E. Bernardo Brea Rodriguez, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama to Indonesia at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat today. They noted Panama's accession to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC) in 2023, which underscores its commitment to fostering closer engagement with ASEAN. Both sides further exchanged views on strengthening ASEAN-Panama relations and advancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
