Jakarta, June 18 -- H.E. San Lwin, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC), received a courtesy call from H.E. Elisa Maria da Silva, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Timor-Leste to ASEAN, on 18 June 2026 at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on Timor-Leste's engagement in ASEAN Community-building efforts, particularly under the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community pillar, following its accession as the 11th Member State of ASEAN.
