Hanoi, July 13 -- Held from May 30 to July 11 under the theme "Da Nang - United Horizons," DIFF 2026 drew the participation of 10 fireworks teams from Australia, China, China's Macao, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Portugal, and two teams representing Viet Nam.
Portugal won the championship at the festival's grand finale on July 11, receiving the the top prize of US$20,000 while China finished as runner-up.
The 2026 edition was regarded as one of the most successful in the festival's history, attracting hundreds of thousands of domestic and international visitors throughout its six-week run.
