Hanoi, April 25 -- With a total investment of approximately VND 45.268 trillion ((S$1.785 billion), the project involves construction of eigh container berths with a total quay length of 2,750 meters, capable of accommodating vessels of up to 18,000 TEU.
The designed capacity is 5.7 million TEU per year (equivalent to about 74 million tons annually). After three years of operation, the first phase is expected to reach a throughput of 4 million TEU per year.
