Hanoi, July 27 -- The visit takes place as Viet Nam and Cambodia continue to deepen their comprehensive cooperation through Party, State, Government and parliamentary channels, with legislative diplomacy playing an increasingly important role in the bilateral relationship.
Following parliamentary cooperation agreements signed in 2007 and renewed in 2022, the two legislatures have expanded collaboration in lawmaking, parliamentary oversight and institutional development. Exchanges between friendship parliamentarians' groups, young lawmakers and women legislators have been strengthened, while both sides have worked together to improve legal frameworks supporting trade, investment and socio-economic development.
