India, March 8 -- NLC India Limited organised a scientific outreach programme titled "Near Space Payload Launch - High Altitude Balloon (HAB) Mission" on March 7, 2026, aimed at promoting interest in space science and atmospheric research among school students.

The event was held at Bharathi Stadium and was inaugurated by Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman and Managing Director of NLC India Limited, in the presence of Samir Swarup, Director (Human Resources), and D. V. S. N. Murthy, Executive Director (Legal, CSR & GH) and President of the NLCIL Schools Central School Committee.
