India, March 22 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the situation across petroleum, crude oil, gas, power, and fertiliser sectors, amid escalating geopolitical tensions in West Asia.

The meeting focused on ensuring uninterrupted supply, strengthening logistics, and streamlining distribution systems to prevent disruptions in essential services. Officials briefed the Prime Minister on current fuel availability and measures being undertaken to safeguard India's energy security.
