India, April 22 -- Narendra Modi on Wednesday commemorated the first anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack, reaffirming India's zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism and its unwavering national resolve.
In a message, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the 26 victims of the extending condolences to their families and emphasising that the nation remains united in grief. He reiterated that India will not yield to terror threats and that such acts will not succeed in destabilising the country.
The attack, carried out in April 2025 by The Resistance Front, an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba, targeted tourists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam region, marking one of the deadliest civilian attacks in recent years.
