Nigeria, March 7 -- Tanzanian Premier League club Singida Black Stars SC has cleared Nigerian goalkeeper Amas Obasogie of match-fixing allegations following an internal investigation conducted by the club.

The development brings relief to the Super Eagles shot-stopper who had earlier been suspended while the club looked into concerns raised after a series of mistakes in recent matches.

In an official statement signed by the club's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jonathan Kassano, the management confirmed that the investigation found no evidence linking the goalkeeper to match manipulation.
