PHOTOS: Super Eagles land in Moscow for Russia friendly
Nigeria, Oct. 3 -- The Super Eagles have arrived in Moscow ahead of Tuesday's international friendly against Russia, with coach Eric Chelle making two changes to his squad following the withdrawal of Wilfred Ndidi and Victory Akpe.
Vince Osuji and John Otomewo have replaced the duo as Nigeria prepare for their second meeting with the Russian national team in 16 months.
The match, scheduled for 6 October, follows a challenging start to Nigeria's 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, which has produced mixed results.
The Super Eagles opened their Group L campaign with a 2-1 comeback victory over Madagascar in Uyo, with debutants George Ilenikhena and Moses Usor scoring after Ehsan Kari had given the visitors an early lead.
