Nigeria, Sept. 21 -- Nine-time champions Enyimba are still searching for their first point of the 2026/27 NPFL season after suffering a third consecutive defeat, while Doma United remain top of the table despite losing heavily to Kano Pillars.

Enyimba's difficult start continued at home as they were beaten 1-0 by Inter Lagos on Sunday.

Ezekiel Moses scored the only goal of the game in the 18th minute to condemn the Aba club to another defeat.

Enyimba are now the only team yet to pick up a point after three matches. They sit at the bottom of the 20-team table with a goal difference of -4.

Doma United, meanwhile, remain top despite their 4-1 defeat to Kano Pillars.
