Palace to VP Sara: Filipinos want answers, not legal technicalities
Manila, July 8 -- Malacanang on Wednesday said Vice President Sara Duterte's brief appearance on the second day of her impeachment trial fell short of what the public wants to hear, noting that Filipinos are looking for her to directly answer the allegations against her rather than rely on legal technicalities.
Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said Duterte did not directly address the accusations hurled against her when she faced members of the media and delivered a short statement on Tuesday.
