Manila, Feb. 25 -- Malacanang on Wednesday emphasized that ongoing efforts by the Department of Education (DepEd) are addressing irregularities left by former Vice President Sara Duterte during her tenure as agency chief.

Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro said criticisms by Duterte on the current administration's governance reflect lapses during her time in office.

"Let us look who's talking," Castro said in a Palace press briefing when asked to comment on the Vice President's remarks.
