Marcos readies priority measures for 20th Congress
Manila, Aug. 6 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will convene the first Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) meeting of the 20th Congress on Thursday to align the administration's legislative agenda and push the passage of over 20 priority measures.
Despite inclement weather, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the President remains focused on advancing reforms that seek to spur economic growth, improve governance, strengthen social protection and enhance public services.
Among the priority measures are the Anti-Political Dynasty Act, Party-list System Reform Act, People's Freedom of Information or Right to Information Act and the Bank Deposits Secrecy Law amendments or the BRIGHT Act.
