Marcos open to curbs on violent online games after Tacloban shooting
Manila, June 23 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is open to proposals restricting or banning violent online games amid concerns over their possible influence on minors, Malacanang said Tuesday following the deadly school shooting in Tacloban City.
Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the issue was discussed after reports emerged that one of the minors involved in Monday's shooting at San Jose National High School was an avid player of a violent online game.
