MANILA, July 13 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has declared July 16, 2026 a special non-working day in the municipalities of Malilipot, Albay, and Talisayan, Misamis Oriental to allow residents to celebrate their annual town fiestas.

Under Proclamation No. 1341, July 16 was declared a special non-working day in the Municipality of Malilipot, Albay.

The President also issued Proclamation No. 1342, declaring the same date a special non-working day in the Municipality of Talisayan, Misamis Oriental.

The proclamations state that the declarations will give residents "the full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration."
