Manila, April 5 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. called on Filipinos to embrace kindness and unity, urging them to translate faith into action as the nation celebrates Easter Sunday.
Marking the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the culmination of Holy Week, Marcos said the occasion is a reminder that hope endures and renewal is always possible.
"On this day, the empty tomb stands as a testament that life conquers death and hope prevails over despair," the President said in his message.
He stressed that beyond reflection, Easter calls for concrete acts of compassion and solidarity.
"As a people known for resilience and deep faith, let us carry the light of Easter into our daily lives, not only in words, but in action," he said.
