Manila, April 21 -- Malacanang on Tuesday welcomed the improvement in President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s trust and performance ratings, saying he remains focused on governance regardless of survey results.

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the President will continue working despite fluctuations in public approval.

"Magandang nakikita po at nararamdaman ng taumbayan kung ano ang ginagawa ng gobyerno. Pero muli, sasabihin po natin, ang Pangulo kahit tumaas o bumaba ang kanyang approval ratings, patuloy pong magtatrabaho ang Pangulo (It is good that the people can see and feel what the government is doing.
