Manila, June 29 -- First Lady Liza Marcos on Monday reaffirmed the administration's commitment to supporting vulnerable sectors, particularly senior citizens, as she joined another rice distribution initiative in San Juan City.

Held at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City, the activity benefited thousands of senior citizens through rice assistance funded under the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF).

This marks the second week of the First Lady's "Mula sa Puso Para sa Pamilya" initiative that brought rice aid to thousands of vulnerable families in Metro Manila.

A total of 8,898 senior citizens in San Juan City are beneficiaries of the program.
