Imphal: The BJP-led NDA government, headed by Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh, has come under heavy criticism from opposition parties and veteran politicians.

Speaking to the media in Imphal on Friday, Communist Party of India (Manipur State Council) spokesperson Rajkumar Amusana stated that the Yumnam Khemchand-led government is a "puppet government" controlled by a "shadow government" comprising central leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
