Manipur Youth Congress launches 'Meri Degree Ka Kya?' campaign over government job vacancies
Imphal, Sept. 19 -- The Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress on Saturday launched its "Meri Degree Ka Kya?" campaign with a protest march to the Chief Minister's bungalow, demanding immediate recruitment to vacant government posts and reforms in the state's recruitment system.
The march began at Congress Bhavan and was led by All India Youth Congress National General Secretary Tarh Johny and Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress president Anand. Police personnel attempted to stop the protesters near the Chief Minister's residence, but the demonstrators continued towards the bungalow before eventually returning to Congress Bhavan.
