Imphal, April 25 -- The Manipur government has announced that all Saturdays, except those falling on general holidays, will now be observed as working days for government offices as a temporary measure until further notice.

In an official notification issued on Friday, the Governor of Manipur stated that state government offices, autonomous bodies and institutes, corporations, societies, boards, and public sector undertakings will be covered under the new order.
