Imphal: Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Wednesday graced the Investiture Ceremony for the Governor's Unit Citation 2026, held in Imphal.

During the solemn ceremony, the Governor conferred Governor's Citations upon outstanding units of the Army, Assam Rifles, CRPF, BSF, BRTF, and the district police of Manipur in recognition of their exemplary service in the state.

Recipients of the Governor's Unit Citation 2026 included the 19 Garhwal Rifles; 17, 38, and 40 Assam Rifles; 2 Mahar Regiment; 25 BRTF; Kakching District Police; Senapati District Police; Churachandpur District Police; 10 BSF; and 143 CRPF.
