Imphal, Oct. 1 -- Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh held a security meeting with senior Assam Rifles officials at the Secretariat in Mantripukhri on Thursday. The meeting reviewed the state's security situation and the progress of fencing along the India-Myanmar border.

The Chief Minister shared details of the meeting on his official social media channel. Major General Gaurav Sharma, SC, SM, Inspector General of Assam Rifles (South), and Brigadier Pranav Prasoon, DIG of 28 Sector Assam Rifles, met the Chief Minister. They discussed regional security and the ongoing construction of the border fence.
