Manipur CM reiterates commitment to permanent NIT campus at its 13th convocation
Imphal, Aug. 4 -- Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Tuesday reaffirmed the state government's commitment to establishing a permanent campus for the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Manipur while addressing the institute's 13th convocation at the City Convention Centre in Imphal.
The Chief Minister said discussions with stakeholders were underway to secure land for the permanent campus at the earliest. He also acknowledged the support of MLA Rameshwar Singh in the process.
Congratulating the graduating students, Khemchand Singh said technical education would play an important role in achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
