Manipur CM chairs high-level security meet; joint forces escalate operations
Imphal, Sept. 17 -- Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh chaired a high-level security coordination meeting at the Cabinet Hall on Thursday to review the state's prevailing law and order situation.
The deliberations focused on implementing stringent measures to maintain peace, identifying newly vulnerable areas, and strategising potential security personnel deployments.
The meeting was attended by key state officials and security chiefs, including Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam, Chief Secretary Rajeev Singh Thakur, Security Advisor Kuldiep Singh, and Manipur DGP Mukesh Singh.
Senior military leadership from the Assam Rifles and CRPF were also present.
