Imphal, April 20 -- Girls outperformed boys in the Class 12 examinations 2026 conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM), which recorded an overall pass percentage of 92.23 per cent, according to results declared on Sunday.

Private schools registered a higher pass percentage than government institutions, though government higher secondary schools also posted a commendable performance, the data showed.

In the Science stream, Takhellambam Kalpana Devi of Comet School and Yohen Longjam of Comprehensive Concept School, Sangaiprou shared the top position with 490 marks each.
