Imphal, July 9 -- A joint operation by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Manipur Police led to the arrest of an alleged woman drug smuggler and the seizure of 22 kilograms of methamphetamine tablets, popularly known as World is Yours (WY) tablets, valued at around Rs 25 crore in the illicit regional market.

The operation was carried out on Wednesday in Manipur's Churachandpur district following intelligence inputs shared between the Manipur Police and sister agencies, including the NCB.

Acting on the inputs, the joint team raided the residence of Paominlin Munlo in Churachandpur and recovered around 22 kg of WY methamphetamine tablets packed in 19 packets, officials said.
