Imphal: Security forces in Manipur have arrested two active cadres of the proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF), the political wing of the banned People's Liberation Army (PLA), and recovered a substantial cache of arms and ammunition during multiple operations carried out over the past 36 hours.

According to Manipur Police, the arrests were made at Waithou Sangomsang near a stone crusher area under Lilong Police Station in Thoubal district.
