Manipur: Three insurgent cadres arrested near Myanmar border; PREPAK denies links with one

Imphal: India's security forces, during anti-insurgency operations along Manipur's border with Myanmar, arrested three insurgent cadres belonging to the proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak-Progressive (PREPAK) and PREPAK (Progressive) groups in separate operations.
Subsequently, PREPAK denied any affiliation with one of the suspects.
Security forces in Manipur arrested three active cadres of Valley-Based Insurgent Groups (VBIGs) in separate operations.
During an operation on Friday near Border Pillar 81 under Moreh police station in Tengnoupal district, forces arrested two active insurgents.
