Imphal: Manipur Police have arrested seven individuals in separate anti-narcotics and enforcement operations conducted across valley districts over the past 36 hours, officials said on Sunday. The seizures include cocaine, suspected heroin and illicit liquor.

In the first operation, acting on specific intelligence, police apprehended two persons in Imphal West district for possession of cocaine, a highly addictive stimulant covered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.

Sukham Rozar (25) of Sagolband Sayang Pukhri Mapal was arrested near RIMS Road, close to Nitayananda Mandir, with 4.6 grams of cocaine. In a separate arrest in the same district, Mutum Giriraj ali...
