Imphal: Security forces recovered a large cache of arms and explosives and dismantled two militant camps during coordinated anti-insurgency operations in Churachandpur and Senapati districts on Thursday.

According to official sources, joint teams conducted the operations in sensitive areas, leading to the recovery of weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive devices (IED). No arrests were made.

In Churachandpur district, security forces busted a militant camp in the Hengkapkot area under Churachandpur police station limits.
