Imphal, June 30 -- In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, a joint team of security forces arrested two persons, including a woman, and seized 530 grams of suspected brown sugar at the T. Khullen Naka Checkpoint in Manipur's Senapati district.

The operation was carried out on June 29, 2026, at around 8:00 a.m. during a routine vehicle checking drive conducted by personnel from the Special Operation Team (SOT) of Senapati Police, the Senapati Women Police Station, D-78 Battalion CRPF, and the Quick Action Team (QAT) of B-109 CRPF.
