Imphal, Aug. 18 -- Manipur security forces conducted coordinated operations across several districts between August 15 and 17, arresting multiple suspects linked to extortion, insurgency and drug trafficking while recovering illegal weapons, narcotics and stolen vehicles.

According to police, the operations resulted in the seizure of 2.6 kg of suspected heroin powder, 1.015 kg of raw opium and codeine-based contraband. Security forces also recovered a Hyundai Eon car, a TVS Jupiter scooter, four mobile phones, a stolen orange Honda Dio and an unregistered two-wheeler.
