Imphal: An individual from Rajasthan was arrested for fraud involving impersonation of officials of the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, highlighting a high-value impersonation racket.

The accused, Jitendra Meena (30), son of late Bajranga Lal Meena and a native of Jeerota, Ward No. 2, Rajasthan, was arrested following a case registered on the basis of a complaint lodged by the RIMS authorities.

The complaint alleged the existence of an organised racket involved in impersonation, fraud, and cheating in the Common Recruitment Examination 2024 conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi.
