Manipur: NSCN-IM denies link to Kotzim ambush that killed three TBAI leaders
Imphal, Oct. 4 -- The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) has denied allegations linking it to the ambush and killing of three leaders of the Thadou Baptist Association India (TBAI) near Kotzim in Manipur's Kangpokpi district.
In a statement, the NSCN-IM termed the allegations circulating on social media as "malicious" and "fabricated". The outfit also rejected reports naming an individual identified as MS Chekneichung Chiru, alias Achung, as one of its members, stating that no such person exists within its ranks. It described the reference to the name as fictitious and defamatory.
