Imphal, July 15 -- The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) has strongly condemned the "ongoing harassment" of civilians by Indian security forces in and around TM Kasom village and Makuilongdi in Manipur.

The armed group has accused the military of repeatedly violating the mutually agreed Ceasefire Ground Rules.

According to an official statement, recent security operations in the area have escalated to alarming levels. The NSCN-IM alleged that security forces carried out unauthorized raids and door-to-door searches without judicial warrants.
