Manipur: NIA, CRPF arrest two suspects in connection with killing of six Naga civilians
Imphal, July 10 -- A joint team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has arrested two suspects in connection with the abduction and killing of six Naga civilians in Manipur, as security forces continue their search for five other accused.
According to Police, the suspects, identified as Pradip and his wife Ayingbi, both residents of Leilon Vaiphei village in Kangpokpi district, were apprehended during an early morning operation on July 10. The operation was carried out on the basis of specific intelligence in the village, which falls under Leimakhong Police Station. Police said search, seizure and other legal formalities were completed during the operation.
