Manipur: Naga Women's Union seeks time-bound NIA probe into six civilian murders

Imphal: The Naga Women's Union (NWU) has formally written to the Director General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), seeking a fair, impartial, and time-bound investigation into the abduction and gruesome murder of six civilians from Konsakhul village.
The case was officially transferred to the NIA by the Manipur government. The six victims were among 18 Naga civilians, including a child, who were abducted from Leilon Vaiphei village on May 13.
While 12 hostages were eventually released, the dismembered and mutilated remains of the six men were recovered on June 10.
