Imphal, Oct. 1 -- The Naga People's Organisation (NPO) has announced a public rally at the Senapati District Headquarters on October 2, 2026, to protest the recent killing of three Naga brothers and the injury of another person.

According to a public notice issued by the organisation, the rally will begin at 11 am and is intended to express collective grief over the September 26 incident at Kailenjang village and demand justice for the victims.

The NPO has appealed to residents of Senapati district to participate in the demonstration wearing traditional attire as a mark of solidarity with the victims and support for the organisation's demands.
