Imphal, April 25 -- Indian paramilitary forces in Manipur stationed along the Indo-Myanmar border are facing severe scrutiny following accusations that they supplied uniforms to Kuki militant groups.
These allegations follow a deadly ambush on Friday, April 24, 2026, near Mullam village in Ukhrul, which resulted in the death of a 29-year-old Naga Village Guard member.
The Khanuithot-Khon (Voice of the Naga Youth), in a statement based on ground reports, accused the Assam Rifles of assisting, shielding, and transporting Kuki narco-terrorists, dressed in military uniforms, to launch an attack on Naga village volunteer positions near Mullam village in Ukhrul district.
