Imphal, Aug. 12 -- The Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW), in collaboration with the Women Department of the Manipur Baptist Convention (MBC), organised a one-day legal awareness programme at the MBC Training Hall in Imphal on Wednesday.

The programme aimed to improve women's understanding of their legal rights and the remedies available to them in cases of rights violations.

Delivering the keynote address, MSCW Member Secretary and Additional Director of Information and Public Relations, Manipur, W. Phajatombi Devi (MCS), said the programme was part of a two-day seminar organised by the MBC.
