Manipur: KSO issues 48-hour ultimatum after 14 Kuki-Zo civilians abducted in Senapati

Imphal: The Kuki Students' Organisation, Sadar Hills (KSO-SH), has issued a blistering indictment against Manipur's Senapati district police, accusing the Superintendent of Police and Officer-in-Charge of grave dereliction of duty and active connivance in the abduction of 14 Kuki-Zo civilians, including three students.
The body has given a 48-hour ultimatum for their safe release and also warned that any continued inaction or silence from the authorities would be viewed as direct complicity.
The student body alleges that 25 civilians were escorted from Senapati by state police on May 13, purportedly for their protection following the brutal killing of three Church leaders in an ambush in Kangpok...
