Manipur: KOHUR condemns burning of Molnoi Kuki village; NVG rejects involvement

Imphal: The Kuki Organisation for Human Rights Trust (KOHUR) has strongly condemned the burning of Molnoi Kuki village located along the Indo-Myanmar border, alleging that Tangkhul Naga armed militants carried out a planned attack on an indigenous Kuki settlement.
According to the organisation, around 13 houses out of nearly 20 in the village were reduced to ashes in the incident. However, no casualties were reported as residents fled the area before the attackers could move further into the settlement.
KOHUR has demanded the immediate deployment of adequate Central security forces in Molnoi and nearby Kuki villages to prevent further incidents and ensure the safe return of displaced families. It has als...
