Imphal: A joint team of Manipur Police and central forces recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in Thoubal district following the arrest of a cadre of the proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF/PLA) in Goa, while three other insurgent cadres were arrested in separate operations.

According to the police, Nongthongbam Ingo alias Krishna alias Yuhenba (51), a resident of Shabungkhok in Imphal East district, was arrested earlier from Cuncolim in South Goa with the assistance of Goa Police in connection with a case registered at Lilong Police Station in Thoubal district.
