Imphal, Sept. 14 -- Manipur Deputy Chief Minister Nemcha Kipgen and Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam have condemned the recent attacks on civilians in the state and appealed for peace and restraint.

Konthoujam said he had directed the concerned authorities to investigate the incidents, identify those responsible and take action according to law.

Four civilians from the Kuki-Zo community were killed in two separate attacks in Tamenglong and Noney districts on Sunday, September 13. A six-year-old boy was injured and remains hospitalised, while a woman has been reported missing.
