Imphal, Aug. 2 -- Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Sunday joined the nationwide launch of the 'Nasha Mukta Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyaan' at Manipur University, urging young people to stay away from drugs and play an active role in nation-building.

The programme, held at the university auditorium, was organised by the NSS Cell of Manipur University in collaboration with the State NSS Cell under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the campaign from New Delhi through a nationwide virtual interaction with youth across the country.
